The maze has five levels, the first and second levels are easy and have green animatronic aliens that use fake laser guns that shot suction cup darts. Fred must go through the maze and must avoid animatronic aliens the SALF crew and the Fake MPs built. Steve, Laura, Max and the Fake MPs' trap is an alien themed maze designed for Fred. Then Fred asks the familiar phrase, "Where in the world did she go?" wonder if her motive was to trap them, or trap the villains. She professes to be flattered that they recognize her, and then makes a quick escape. When the mastermind turns around, the gang notices it's Carmen Sandiego.
